Micom  3F

The Micom 3R is the latest radio in the Micom series and is a software defined military type HF transceiver capable of operation on any frequency in the 1.8-30 MHz range.  The 3 series radios have a larger display and were made with more computing power which supports enhanced features. The unit has been tested & certified by DOD's Joint Interoperability Test Center (JITC) for compliance with MIL-STD-188-141B, the Automatic Link Establishment (ALE) standard used by the U.S. and most of the world.  The 3R is designed for installation as a front-mount mobile radio, although it is often used with a 12 VDC power supply as a base station.  The 3R is available with embedded type-3 AES encryption for both voice & data.  See options list for other available features.  Click for Brochure (Micom-3F.pdf)
